The Rotary Club of Petaluma

A Message from Jim Mickelson

President, 2001-2002

Jim Mickelson

Thank you for visiting our web site. The Rotary Club of Petaluma was established in 1923 and continues today to be a very active force in our community. This year our principal community project is “Promoting Rotary.” We want to get the message out what Rotary gives to its community and in return the rewards your involvement in Rotary can give you.

Two of our more popular fundraising events each year are the Crab Feed in February and the All Day Breakfast in May. Event proceeds go to fund a variety of community projects like our Children’s Christmas Party where we donate clothing and toys to less fortunate children, our literacy program and the completion of the restoration of McNear Park. We also take on international projects around the world.

For more information about our club, you can contact me or the club’s Secretary, Steve Olmsted. The benefits of giving to your community are endless. Join us and make a difference.
